RAYMOND PASQUALI, Superintendent
Mr. Raymond Pasquali was born and raised in Caspian, Michigan and graduated from West Iron County Public Schools in 1969. He attended Western Michigan University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education in 1973 with a concentration in Health and Psychology. He returned to Western in 1974 and received additional certification in Elementary Education. He taught 2nd grade in Milan, Michigan and has teaching experience at all Educational levels. Mr. Pasquali returned to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to work in a family business and in 1978, took the opportunity to build, own and operate two Businesses in L'Anse, Michigan. In 1988, he sold his business interests and accepted a position with Fleming Companies as a Financial Counselor. In 1994, he was named International Retail Counselor of the Year. He then accepted a position as general manager for a large retail operation, Mr. Pasquali, in 1999, accepted his current position as Superintendent for the L'Anse Area Schools. Mr. Pasquali completed his Master's Degree in School Administration at Northern Michigan University in 2007 and is in his 9th year as Superintendent of Schools. n Michigan University while in his 6th year as Superintendent of Schools.

ROSANNE KUIVINEN, Superintendent Secretary
I am a graduate of the L'Anse Area Schools, as well as my 3 children. Employed by the L'Anse Area Schools as Superintendent's Secretary since 1998. Member of the Mission United Lutheran Church - Pelkie and Ladies Auxiliary V.F.W. Post - Alston. I enjoy reading, walking, cross country skiing and knitting.

CINDY HUBBARD, Payroll Clerk
I was born and raised in L'Anse and attended school here. I was originally hired in 1996 as the Superintendent's Secretary and since 1998 have been the Payroll Clerk. My duties besides payroll include record keeping (time off), contracts and insurance benefits. My husband and I have two grown sons and enjoy the outdoors.

LAURA MATHIEU, Accounting Assistant
I was born and raised in the Copper Country and grew up in an education household as my father was a teacher. A graduate of Portage Township Schools and Northern Michigan University, I have a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Office Services and a minor in Health Education. I worked in retail and the manufacturing sector prior to 1988. The Baraga Area Schools employed me as a temporary secretary during the 1988 1989 school year. In September of 1989 I came to the L'Anse Area Schools as the Junior High / Counselors Secretary. During the 1993 1994 school year the district went through a change in administration and I became the Accounting Assistant for the district. I enjoy spending time with my son Michael, reading and am an avid NASCAR fan.
