English: 4 credits

Mathematics: 4 credits
     Algebra I
     Geometry
     Algebra II
     1 additional credit
     (math credit in final year)

Science: 3 credits
     Biology
     Chemistry or Physics
     1 addition science credit

Social Studies: 3 credits
     .5 Civics
     .5 Economics
     U.S. History and Geography
     World History and Geography

Health and Physical Education
     .5 Health
     .5 PE

Visual, Performing, Applied Arts: 1 credit
     World Languages: 2 credits
     Begins with class of 2016

L’Anse High School Graduation Requirements:

24 credits to Graduate

English Language Arts: 4 credits
     (same as above)

Mathematics: 4 credits
     (same as above)

Science: 3 credits
     Same as above with the exception of mandating the additional
     science credit to be EARTH SCIENCE in Freshman year.

Social Studies: 4 credits
     (3 credits for the class of 2012)
     Same as above with the addition of Current Events in Senior Year.

Health and Physical Education: 1 credit
     (same as above)

Visual, Performing, Applied Arts: 1 credit

World Language: 2 credits (Begins with the Class of 2016)

Online Learning Experience:
    
Incorporated into classroom lessons.

Grade Promotion/Credit Requirements:
Senior High students are expected to make proper progress towards graduation in order to be promoted with their class: Minimum requirements are as follows:

     5 credits for a sophomore status

     10 credits for a junior status

     15 credits for a senior status

     20.5 credits for a second semester senior status
